Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon
Challenge
Operate a live stream for the finish line of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon at Headingley Stadium for friends and family of the runners to watch remotely through an online platform, with added on-screen information through tickers and live updates. Alongside this would be the need to capture footage from across the 26.2 mile course to produce highlight reels, social edits and marketing content for the Run For All organisers to take into next year’s event.
Outcomes
Starting with a pre-race route walkthrough and finishing with the official Marathon aftermovie, RAM documented every aspect of the first ever Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon from all angles, including above thanks to our Drone footage. We were able to provide a full 8 hour online live stream of the finish line, with further camera operatives out on the streets capturing runners, crowds and entertainment. With such limited vehicle access we were able to source and work alongside one of the country’s premiere vehicle tracking teams to navigate the course during the Marathon by electric Motorcycle, unlocking even more potential and a completely new dynamic to the excellent on-course footage.
